Ricky RubioPG, Phoenix SunsJoining the Suns had a positive affect on Ricky Rubio's fantasy production, as he saw his minutes expand to 31.6 mpg, while also posting a career-high 13.1 points, alongside 8.9 assists and 1.5 steals.
Before the stoppage in play, Rubio was a top-46/60 per game player (8-cat/9-cat). Leaving Utah's system offense was a major boost as his assists leapt from 6.1 to 8.9 per game. Overall, the last few seasons have been worrisome in the steals department and Rubio is no longer the elite option he once was there, but he is still a valuable mid-round point guard that can go overlooked for flashier names in drafts next season. The Suns are planning to lighten his workload in the bubble and he should be lower on your redraft board as a result.
