Nerlens Noel

Nerlens Noel put up elite defensive numbers in limited minutes off the bench to secure a 90/73 ranking in 8/9-cat formats.

Noel finished the season averaging a pedestrian 7.7 points and 4.9 rebounds in 18.4 minutes a night. His fantasy value was carried by 1.5 blocks and1.0 steals per night, while shooting a ridiculous 68.5% from the field. Had he qualified, Noel would have ranked third in the entire league in FG%. To go along with the impressive shooting numbers, he is the only player in the history of the NBA to average at least 1.5 blocks and 1.0 steals in less than 20 minutes per game. A free-agent this offseason, Noel could be looking at a raise in pay, and minutes. If he can find a role and settle in as a backup center, playing 20-24 minutes a game he can make the leap to a top-60 player.
