LaMarcus AldridgePF, San Antonio SpursLaMarcus Aldridge (shoulder) continued to be one of the most steady sources of early-round value in fantasy this year, putting up 18.9 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.6 blocks to register as a top-41/26 per game player (8-cat/9-cat).
Aldridge will not be taking part in the Orlando bubble due to a shoulder procedure he underwent on April 24. The Spurs' chances of earning a playoff spot were slim and it was logical for Aldridge to proceed with the procedure and get his recovery process underway. Aldridge remains a lock for strong percentages from the center position and always keeps turnovers to a minimum. He posted career-highs with 1.6 blocks and 1.2 3-pointers this season, a welcome development for his long-term fantasy outlook. Aldridge may have turned 35 years old today, but he remains a reliable late third or fourth-round target in standard leagues.
