Hassan WhitesideC, Portland Trail BlazersHassan Whiteside returned to fantasy glory in 2019-20 as he ranked 15/8 in per-game and 7/5 in total value in 8/9-cat leagues.
Three years removed from his first-round fantasy season in 2015-16, Whiteside found the perfect home in Portland where he played 31.3 minutes per game and returned to fantasy dominance with averages of 16.3 points, 14.2 rebounds and a 61.8 field goal percentage while leading the league in blocks (3.1) for the second time in his career. This turnaround may be short-lived however, since Whiteside may not even be a starter when the Blazers are at full health with Jusuf Nurkic and Zach Collins coming back. It also did not help his cause that the Blazers were eight games under .500 with Whiteside as their starting center, the season after they finished as the third seed in the Western Conference.
