Week 12 SNF Fantasy Preview

Packers (+6.5) @ Eagles (-295): O/U 46

The Packers (4-7) head to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles (9-1) in a Sunday Night Football matchup that should have many fantasy football eyes watching. The Packers offense has looked much better over the past two weeks, thanks to the impressive play of rookie WR Christian Watson, while the Eagles have looked vulnerable in their past two contests, losing to the Commanders and nearly falling to the Colts last weekend.  Both teams are in need of a victory on Sunday night.  The Packers need a win or else their playoff hopes will be unofficially depleted, while the Eagles need to pick up a win in order to retake sole possession of first place in the NFC and to prove to the NFL that their 8-0 streak to begin the season was not a fluke.  Both offenses have a handful of very fantasy relevant players that will play a key role in determining crucial fantasy matchups, as fantasy GMs look to secure their playoff spots.

Packers

QB

Aaron Rodgers: Rodgers has one of the safer fantasy scoring floors for QBs this season.  Since Week 1, he has had at least 15.8 fantasy points in all but one contest.  He is not going to dominate, especially in a very tough matchup against the Eagles, but he should be a fringe QB1 in 12-team leagues. He has put up at least 19.1 fantasy points in each of his last two games, his best two fantasy performances of the season.

RB

Aaron Jones: The Eagles defense has looked vulnerable to opposing running backs over the past two games, both of which they nearly lost as a result.  Jones should be heavily involved in the Packers game plan once again and has tallied at least 14.0 fantasy points in four of his last five games.  His rushing game opportunities have been fairly safe, with his fantasy scoring ceiling coming as a result of his passing game utilization.  Jones should be able to finish as a top-15 RB once again this season, something he has done in four-of-five games.
