Can this Houston offense get back on track? Houston have been a great offensive team, but they seemed to have lost their touch against the Falcons. The Saints are coming off of their best defensive game this season. They can do it all of the field, whether it’s getting to the quarterback with their 11 sacks or their 8 turnovers. The Texans offense will have another chance to overcome a good defense. This can either put them back on track for the season or this could be what to expect from them for the rest of the season.
Will the Saints find their stride in the passing game? Derek Carr has been nursing a shoulder injury for the last couple of games. The first two games without the injury, Carr threw for 533 yards. The last three games he’s combined to have 413 passing yards. He had a promising outing against the Patriots, but they were without two of their best defensive players. This Texans defense has been serviceable and they could give the Saints some problems.
Which defense will take the cake? The team that plays better defense will win this game. Both of these offenses are capable of playing at a high level. Both of these offenses are capable of scoring a lot of points. The defense that could stop the opposing offense better than the other will win. I know that sounds vague, but that’s the truth. These team matchup a lot better than people think. This is going to be a competitive game all the way to the end. These offenses will be tested just as much as these defenses will be tested.
