I can’t believe the units I’ve lost recently on these. On the season in the WagerPass, I’m essentially even. I’m off to a 2-1 start too, and looking to finish this season strong. Let’s see if we can dig into these two middling teams in the thick of the playoff hunt. The pressure is mostly on the Buccs here as the NY Times has them at 33% to make the playoffs. The Falcons are at 62%, but they need this win too.

Main Storylines to Watch

Push for the Playoffs: As mentioned above, the Buccaneers are in the playoff hunt, though their chances aren’t looking great. They did their job and beat the Panthers, but their defense has regressed. It still has to be in their plans to try to get Mike Evans into the playoffs though to cap off another 1,000+ receiving yard season. The team that drafted him in your league is likely doing well, in large part thanks to Evans.

Honey Bijan: The metrics over the last several weeks tell an underlying story as Bijan Robinson’s stock is rising. Those who burned a first or second-round draft pick on him have likely been underwhelmed thus far, but if you’ve made it to the playoffs despite Bijan being held in check, the next several weeks look very promising for you. The Buccs had a solid run defense to start the season, but they’ve since regressed.
