Just an awful two games I previewed for you all Sunday, so I’m hoping for a bounceback. We saw good things from the Bears last week until we didn’t. They sat in prevent and lost the game, so that was fun as a Bears fan. Against my better judgment, I’m leaning the Bears in this one and it’s going to be an interesting game with Justin Fields back and playing well.

Main Storylines to Watch

Good Fields/Bad Fields: Justin Fields had a nice game last week putting in 104 yards rushing against a pretty decent defense. Here he will get another stout run defense that happens to give up the second-most yards through the air in the entire NFL. This will be a nice test, but it’s been refreshing to see the Bears utilize Fields in a way that complements his talents instead of asking him to stand in the pocket and pass. He may need to do that here though. Will we get the good Fields or the bad Fields?

Everything’s Coming Up Dobbs: Joshua Dobbs had some turnover issues last week, but has so far been pretty decent for the Vikings. The Bears have a decent defense, but they have terrible mental lapses every single game, so it will be interesting to see if Dobbs can exploit that as he gets the ball into his receivers’ hands. It will be another game without Justin Jefferson, but there are still plenty of worthy targets on this team. The Bears have an elite rush defense, so it will be on Dobbs to throw the ball here.
