Bet: 3-6, -3.18u
Lean: 4-3, 0.7uGood ole AFCN rivalry in late November. While this matchup isn’t looking as dynamic as it has in recent years, there will still be some pretty big playoff implications here. The Bengals are looking to keep their head above water while trotting out Jake Browning and his career 15 pass attempts. The Steelers, on the other hand, are performing above expectations and look to remain in control of a playoff spot with another win.
Main Storylines to Watch
Steelers Offense: With Matt Canada gone, it’s going to be interesting to see what the offense in Pittsburgh is going to look like. Will there be more creativity? Will the Steelers shift the running back touches in favor of Warren? How much? Do we get to see more George Pickens? While we know any situation can always get worse, it’s hard to imagine the change in OC as anything but a positive.
Bengals Offense: It’s all about the offenses in this game. The Bengals are going through their own transition after losing star QB Joe Burrow to a wrist injury that requires season-ending surgery to repair a ligament. In a season where we’ve seen the likes of Josh Dobbs, Tommy DeVito, and even Zach Wilson (he looked alright against KC) have some form of success on a given week, we’ll see if Jake Browning can create a little magic for a team that had super bowl aspirations before the season started.
