Happy Wednesday! I love some mid-week afternoon baseball, so let’s take a look at some of last night’s action and see who you might be able to find on the waiver wire to fill out your fantasy baseball rosters.

Lourdes Gurriel Jr., LF/OF, Arizona Diamondbacks

I wrote Lourdes Gurriel Jr. up last week, and despite a bump in his roster rates, I am adding him again today as someone that should be rostered. After a 2-for-5 night that included a 2-run home run, his second in as many games, Gurriel is now slashing .312/.376/.553 with seven homers, 25 RBI and 25 runs scored on the season. The power is back for real, and with his keen eye at the plate (8.3% walk rate, 15.3% strikeout rate) and contact skills he’ll continue to deliver excellent average.
