After a slow start to the season, in which he hit .208 in April, he’s turned a corner and is scorching hot right now. He has brought his season batting average up to .260 with a .423/.483/.731 slash line over the last week. Over his last 30 games, he’s hitting .305/.351/.533  with five home runs, 31 RBI, 14 runs and three stolen bases. He’s making quality contact this season, with a 90.2 mph average exit velocity and 9.9% barrel rate, both career-best marks. In the last week, he has been striking the ball even better with a 92.6 mph average EV and 18.2% barrel rate.
