MLB Pickups of the Day for June 25th

  • We’ve made it to Sunday, the final day of this week’s fantasy matchups. We rest, we relax and we find the next player to pick up to help out our fantasy squads.

    Ha-Seong Kim, 2B/3B/SS, SD (30% Yahoo)

Kim has been on fire the last week, scoring 6 and driving in 6, while hitting 2 homers and stealing 2 bases, producing a 1.092 OPS in the process. He’s playing every day and moving between 3 different positions for the Padres and, while he normally bats in the bottom half of the lineup, he has led off the last 3 games. The Padres have had one of the top 5 offenses over the last month, scoring 140 runs as a team, and Kim has been a big part of that offense. If he continues to hit leadoff, he is a must-add in all leagues 12 teams or larger (because of the positional versatility and the upside of the offense), but if he drops back down in the lineup, I would only pick him up in 14-team and larger leagues.
