Four strong pick ups for everybody today, with great young firepower across the board. Two of these players have Rookie of the Year potential and beyond, while the other two have great availability with solid upside to boot.

Bobby Miller, SP

Even though I’ve mentioned Bobby Miller’s prowess before, I think it’s necessary to point out just how ridiculous his start to his major league career has been thus far. Obviously with an ERA under one, his results have been immaculate, but the stuff that he’s displayed to get those results is somehow even more impressive. Miller has displayed four pitches earning a Stuff+ over 100, and in his last start against Philadelphia, showed off a slider which graded out at an almost unfathomable 181 using Fangraphs’ model. For reference, Edwin Diaz and Emmanuel Clase were the only two qualified pitchers to have a slider grading out over 160 Stuff+ last year, so if Miller can maintain this, we may not have seen the best of his dominance yet.
