Hey, fantasy baseball heads, it’s the weekend again, and it’s time to kick back and enjoy some baseball while improving our fantasy squads. I recommend you’re using your streamer or flier slots to gamble on hot adds. Early in the season is an exciting time, as roles are being shaken out, and there is value to be scooped on the wire.

Michael Fulmer (RP, Cubs):

Fulmer got a two inning save for the Cubs on Saturday. He’s looking for a ratio bounce-back season, but he’s the Cubs’ RP arm to own right now if you’re in on that bullpen.

Logan O’Hoppe (C, Angels)/Francisco Alvarez (Utility, Mets)

If you punted catcher, O’Hoppe or Alvarez can be your guy. Alvarez has more upside as he’s a top prospect, it just might take him time to adjust and gain Catcher eligibility in most formats. O’Hoppe showcased some speed and BA in the minor leagues and he’s been producing so far for the Angels. If O’Hoppe stays in the lineup, he could be a valuable Catcher fill-in.
