Happy one week anniversary of opening day, with the last batch of teams to play their home openers doing so this weekend. After a week of play, I take you through four smart fantasy pickups from what we’ve seen so far.

Jonathan India 

This one is mostly applicable to those in smaller leagues, as it’s likely that India would have gone in the later rounds of many drafts, but for those who still have the option, grabbing India is a no-brainer. After winning rookie of the year in 2021, many owners could be forgiven for looking past the 26-year old after a brutal sophomore slump season. With some significant adjustments to his swing and approach, and results paying enormous dividends so far to the tune of a 1.167 OPS, anyone in the ~50% of leagues in which he is still a free agent should make this pickup ASAP.
