We are getting into week 17 here in the fantasy baseball season. Getting into the home stretch now! Last week I was on fire and recommended a few guys who are paying dividends if you scooped them up off free agency; names such as Zach Gelof and Max Kepler. This week we have a new group of players that we are going to get into! It features a lot of up-and-coming youth! that I have mentioned on my Twitter over the past week (@Andrew_FBB).

Yainer Diaz

It blows my mind that Diaz is as under-rostered as he currently is in most leagues. At a thin catcher position, Diaz is slashing .276 with 14 home runs and 34 RBIs in 245 plate appearances. He has carried that momentum into August going, 5 for his last 14 with a home run. His .288 xBA actually suggests he might be underperforming in terms of his counting stats right now. If you are chasing help at the catcher spot, Diaz is way too available in leagues.
