    Key Postgame Stories

This was quite the interesting game of football.  The Texans were the only team to score a touchdown on offense, yet they lost by nearly two scores.  Meanwhile, the return of DeShaun Watson went as terrible as most people were hoping it would go, read more about him in the Biggest Busts section below.  The Browns did somehow leave the contest with the win, advancing to 5-7 on the season and keeping their slim playoff hopes alive. On the other side of the ball, the Texans seem to be locked in for the first overall draft pick in this year’s upcoming draft.  The Texans are now 1-10-1 this year and have a two-game cushion for bottom spot in the NFL.

    Top Performers

Browns DST: Only twice in NFL history has a team scored four touchdowns on defense and special teams combined in one game and the Browns were able to score three times in such fashion on Sunday. The Browns took a fumble, interception and punt return to the house, racking up an outstanding 27.0 fantasy points in the process.  They also added a second forced fumble and interception, earning themselves the top-overall spot for DST this week.

    Biggest Busts

DeShaun Watson: Watson looked unfathomably bad in his return after a two-year absence.  His throws were consistently nowhere close to on-target, hitting the ground several yards in front of his receivers or sailing over their head.  He finished 12-of-22 for 131 yards and one interception, adding 21 yards on seven rushes. Even with six teams on bye this week, fantasy GMs will be able to find better streaming options than Watson.

Nick Chubb: Shockingly, Chubb had a very bad game against the terrible Texans’ rushing defense.  The large majority of his lack of success was due to how bad Watson was, forcing the offense to be in a standstill for the majority of the game.  Chubb finished with 80 yards on 17 rushes, so he didn’t entirely burn his fantasy GMs, but there was hope that Chubb would finish as the overall RB1 this week.
