Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickups for Week 16

  • Teams on Bye Week:

    None

    Zack Moss (RB) – Colts:

After Jonathan Taylor went down on his first touch of the game, it shockingly was Moss who stepped in as the Colts’ primary back. He rushed 24 times for 81 yards, outtouching Deon Jackson by a near 2-1 rate. Jackson is vastly more talented, but if the backfield is going to be Moss’ with JT expected to miss the remainder of the season, he is the priority waiver addition, especially with a juicy matchup against the Chargers in the semi finals.

Use #1 Waiver Priority: Yes (if in need of a spot start)

FAAB Budget %: Up to 100%

    Deon Jackson (RB) – Colts:

For some reason, it was Moss, not Jackson who filled in as the primary back after JT fell to injury. Jackson stepped in earlier in the season when Taylor missed time, so there is a >0% chance that he will be the back and is worth putting a lower end FAAB bid in on him this weekend. There is potential that the only reason Moss was given more touches was simply due to Jackson losing a fumble. He finished Saturday’s game with 13 rushes for 55 yards, hauling in a one-yard reception, but losing that one fumble.
