Fantasy Football: Waiver Wire Pickups for Week 14

  • Teams on Bye Week:

    Atlanta Falcons

    Chicago Bears

    Green Bay Packers

    Indianapolis Colts

    New Orleans Saints

    Washington Commanders

    Zonovan Knight (RB) – Jets:

After being featured in this article last week, Knight returns due to a strong Week 13 performance, but now fantasy GMs will have to spend up to acquire the Jets’ RB. Knight has looked like the most talented replacement for Breece Hall and there are reports coming out of New York that the job is his, even when Michael Carter gets back to full health. In his two starts, he has averaged 79.5 yards on 14.5 attempts, adding nine receptions for 62 yards.  He has dominated the snap count and usage in these two games and should have the opportunity to be a league-winner with games against the Lions, Jaguars and Seahawks throughout the fantasy playoffs.

    Cam Akers (RB) – Rams:

Wel,l look who finally showed up.  Akers had easily his best game of his rollercoaster season, finding the endzone twice against the Seahawks.  He was the clear lead back on Sunday, finishing with 72% of snaps and rushing 17 times for 60 yards, hauling in his only target for zero yards.  The Rams offense looked much better with John Wolford under center, but it was still far from what fantasy GMs are used to.  Tread with caution, but Akers is still worth adding and starting for fantasy GMs who are dismantled by the six-team bye week.
