    Not ideal, of course, but I’m content with most of the processes, even after the fact. I admitted that Nurkic was a bit dicey if Grayson Allen (ankle) were forced to miss the contest, which eventually was the case. Jarrett Allen also fell short, as the Cavaliers used the lowly Pistons to allow Cavs players returning from injury to get re-acclimated to game speed. Kyle Kuzma simply got hot versus a good defense, nothing was stopping him there. On the other side, Mason Plumlee made one of his two first quarter field goal attempts and played eight minutes, but his chances were harmed by Amir Coffey getting a lot of looks and 10 points alongside the Clippers’ usual suspects in the early going. Thankfully, Brook Lopez came through to save us from getting completely blanked on a day of some bad run.
