Liverpool haven’t lived up to expectations this season. After losing four straight matches in the Premier League, they finally bounced back with a win at home against Aston Villa last weekend. Real Madrid, on the other hand, remain one of the most dominant sides in the Champions League, playing at a completely different level under Xabi Alonso, who has firmly established his system. I expect most of the action to come after halftime, as both teams are likely to approach the first half cautiously without taking too many risks early on.
