The Mavericks have now lost nine of their last ten games, continuing their struggles despite a strong effort in their last game against the Pacers. They blew an 11-point lead in the final six minutes and couldn’t close it out. Meanwhile, the Pistons have bounced back after a tough stretch, winning their last game against the Heat on a buzzer-beater by Cade Cunningham. Detroit’s offense has been strong, especially in the paint, where they’ve been dominating, while Dallas continues to fall short with key players out. With the Pistons in good form and the Mavericks struggling to stay competitive, I expect Detroit to cover this spread and secure a comfortable win.
