NBA: Brooklyn Nets vs. Milwaukee Bucks, 8pm EST Nets +14 (-110) 1 unit (Fanatics)

After winning the NBA Cup, Milwaukee rallied from 19 points down to defeat the Pacers, snapping a streak of losing 3 out of their previous 5 games. Antetokounmpo returned after missing 3 games and was impactful. Even though Damian Lillard had a poor game, it didn’t matter as Portis and Trent stepped up after quiet outings, and Lopez had a breakout performance. The Nets, on the other hand, has lost its last three games. They fell to a motivated Toronto team yesterday, which was coming off the worst defeat in their team’s history. Keon Johnson struggled, Wilson continues to have a tough season, and Cam Thomas returned after a month-long absence. The Nets also made moves, trading Dennis Schroeder to Golden State for draft rights and acquiring D’Angelo Russell from the Lakers, who played well in his debut. The status of Clowney, who was injured in the last game, is still uncertain. While the Bucks are surely the favorites and the team I’m backing to win, the Nets should keep it closer than the line we have been given.
