Despite their extensive injury list, the Pelicans have displayed resilience, exemplified by their victory over the Nuggets and a competitive effort against the Lakers. Trey Murphy’s return provided a critical boost in scoring and size, while Brandon Ingram continues to lead the way. Meanwhile, the Mavericks have been inconsistent, dropping four of their last five games. Luka Dončić’s uncertain status only adds to their struggles. Even if Dončić suits up, Dallas has consistently struggled to cover large spreads this season. With their ability to adapt and compete, the Pelicans should be able to keep this one within single digits.
