Miles Bridges shot 0-of-4 from deep, but the Hornets were decimated by the Magic so he also got an early seat. Just gross stuff. Mikal Bridges had 12 points by halftime and straight disappeared. The awful season from hell continues for Mikal. My theory about the Mavs being a bit hesitant to play Gafford against Victor Wembanyama remains untested. Wemby looks completely gassed out there and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him shut down. I will say that they seemed to mirror Wemby’s on/off with Gafford’s off/on. Alas.
