Week 15 Fantasy Football Preview: Buccaneers at Packers

In this edition of my weekly game previews, I have my sights set on historic Lambeau Field where the Green Bay Packers play host to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Both teams are in the playoffs as things stand currently, with the Bucs in first in the NFCS and the Packers clinging on to the 7th seed and final wildcard spot. As such, this game is going to have an impact on playoff percentages and seeding scenarios. Let’s get right to it.
Main Storylines to Watch
Can we trust a Packers running back?: Probably not, but maybe? As a whole the team has actually been better than it seems when it comes to the ground game. As a whole, they’ve gained over 100 yards on the ground in their past six games, seven out of their last eight, and eight of their thirteen games this year. That has not led to a whole lot on the fantasy front. Aaron Jones has largely been hurt while AJ Dillon has been less than stellar. They have five players over 100 yards rushing (one of them being rookie wideout Jayden Reed), but only raking 19th in rushing means that they only have 1382 yards. Tampa’s two man show: The offense has two clear alpha’s, Mike Evans and Rachaad White. The two horses should continue to dominate the offensive production for a team that’s taken a step back offensively with Baker Mayfield taking over this season. Outside of Chris Godwin scoring one week, and a random Cade Otton game, it’s been a struggle to trust anyone outside of Evans and White.
