JaVale McGeeC, Cleveland CavaliersThe trade of JaVale McGee to the Cavs is now official.
McGee was traded so the Lakers could create room for Marc Gasol, and he's going to have a hard time generating much traction if he sticks with the Cavs. Cleveland has Andre Drummond, Kevin Love and Larry Nance Jr. all capable of playing center, and while there may be backup minutes available somewhere, you would think that all three take priority over McGee. Even as a starter last year with the Lakers, McGee only averaged 16.6 mpg, so it won't be a huge change if he's stuck in a lower-minute role.
