Montrezl Harrell

The Lakers have issued a press release announcing the official signing of former Clippers center Montrezl Harrell.

Harrell will not see much of a change in scenery but will now be donning the purple and gold as he chases an NBA title with the defending champions. He should be expected to slide in nicely into the starting lineup at center, given the departures of Dwight Howard and the trade of JaVale McGee. Either that, or he'll reprise his sixth-man role if the Lakers opt to start veteran big man Marc Gasol. Either way, Harrell should see a drop in production from his time with the Clippers.
