JaVale McGee

C, Los Angeles Lakers

The Lakers are exploring trades of JaVale McGee to open up money to offer to Marc Gasol, per Marc Stein of the New York Times.

McGee optioned into his $4.2 million for next season but could be off the roster with the Lakers hunting for an upgrade. Even in the starting lineup last season, McGee was a low-minute player and that doesn't figure to change much if he ends up on another roster.
