Gordon HaywardSF, Boston CelticsMarc Stein of The New York Times is reporting that the Knicks could be a potential landing spot for Gordon Hayward if he declines his $34M player option.
The Knicks cleared quite a bit of cap space today so we can assume that they are planning to use that on a top-tier free agent. Expect the Knicks to be in the running for Hayward or Bogdan Bogdanović once free agency opens on Friday. Obviously, Hayward would need to opt out and his decision will be made by this afternoon.
