Myles PowellSG, New York KnicksMyles Powell is set to sign with the Knicks, per Ian Begley.
Powell, somewhat local being born in Trenton and having played at Seton Hall, will go to training camp with the Knicks. He was awarded the Jerry West Award last year, given to the NCAA's top shooting guard, also taking home honors as the Big East Player of the Year and being named a consensus First Team All-American. Powell is a terrific scorer and can make all sorts of tough shots, but at 6'2" and 195 pounds it's hard to see how he sticks at shooting guard at the NBA level. Efficiency was a problem as well, but Powell has a chance to crack the league as a gunner off the bench.
