Omer YurtsevenC, Oklahoma City ThunderThe Thunder have signed Georgetown's Omer Yurtseven to an Exhibit 10 deal, per Yahoo's Chris Haynes.
Yurtseven left Turkish powerhouse Fenerbahce back in 2016 and spent two years at NC State before transferring to Georgetown. He's a little more versatile offensively than most 7-footers and has shown flashes of being an effective 3-point shooter — his only high-volume NCAA season saw him hit half of his triples, but he shot just 3-for-14 from deep last year. Yurtseven isn't the strongest or most physical player but his experience in the Fenerbahce program puts him higher than most prospects in terms of basketball IQ, and he's a fundamentally sound defender despite the aforementioned limitations. In his lone season at Georgetown, Yurtseven averaged 15.5 points, 9.8 rebounds, 0.5 steals and 1.5 blocks in 17.3 mpg.
