Jahlil TrippG, Memphis GrizzliesThe Grizzlies have agreed to an Exhibit 10 contract with Jahlil Tripp.
Tripp, a 6'5" guard, was named the WCC Defensive Player of the Year in his third and final season with Pacific. He averaged at least 1.5 steals per game in each of his three seasons, though he also played a ton to get there — averaging 31.8 mpg. Tripp's big drawback is that he's a poor shooter, converting at just a .269 clip from the 3-point line. The defensive instincts give him a fighting chance.
