How’d We Get Here?

The Spurs saw their lengthy playoff streak end despite a strong run in the bubble. Instead, their year was undone when the world was “normal,” as they didn’t spend a lot of time with their best defenders on the court together and relied on an outdated offensive methodology. There’s some interesting young talent flanking two aging stars but the Spurs continue to lag a step or two behind as the rest of the West keeps getting better and better.
