• Russell Westbrook
    PG, Houston Rockets

Russell Westbrook was an utter disaster in Game 5 on Saturday, going 4-for-13 from the field and 2-for-6 at the free throw line to end the night with 10 points, four rebounds, six assists and two steals.

Westbrook simply could not get things going on the offensive end for the Rockets. That said, credit does have to also go to the Lakers as his defenders stayed in his face the whole time. While the Rockets did manage to squeeze past the Thunder and Chris Paul, their inability to secure more than one game in this series against the Lakers begs the question as to whether or not trading for Westbrook over the offseason was the best move for the franchise. By the result, it does not seem like it was. Time will tell and his hefty contract will surely take its toll on the Rockets' bankroll for sure. The Rockets are a good team and it looks like some major changes need to be made before they can transcend to becoming a "great" one.
