Landry ShametSG, Los Angeles ClippersLandry Shamet started for an injured Patrick Beverley (left calf strain) in Friday's Game 3 vs. the Mavs and looked good as he chipped in 18 points on 7-of-13 shooting, including three triples, three rebounds, one steal and one block in 27 minutes.
Shamet showed us in last season's playoffs that he can heat up and tonight's performance was above his regular-season par, which is a good sign for the Clippers, who are missing some scoring punch from a currently struggling Paul George. Whether Shamet sticks in the starting lineup is a question that will be answered later, but his solid scoring effort helped offset a relatively quiet night from Lou Williams, who put up just 10 points on 4-of-8 shooting with two 3s and one rebound in 26 minutes off the bench.
