Russell WestbrookPG, Houston RocketsThe Rockets announced that Russell Westbrook (strained quad muscle) had an MRI on Wednesday and will miss Friday's season finale against the Sixers.
Westbrook was already ruled out of Wednesday's contest but it initially was thought of as a rest day in advance of the playoffs. However, it seems like he may have injured himself in Tuesday's loss to the Spurs. Hopefully, he'll be back in the fold once the playoffs begin but we will have to continue to monitor as we learn more. Westbrook can be safely dropped in resumption leagues now that he has been ruled out of both of the team's final seeding games.
