Luka Dončić (right ankle management) nearly notched another triple-double on Tuesday, going for 25 points (8-for-19 FG, 2-for-8 3PT, 7-for-9 FT), 10 dimes and seven rebounds in the 134-131 loss to the Blazers.

Dončić was dynamite once again. The Blazers really needed the victory since the Suns had beaten the Sixers earlier in the day, and Damian Lillard was on a mission to make that happen. If anything, this will be used as a learning experience for the young superstar. This locks the Mavs into the seventh seed in the West but there was not much Dončić or anyone on the Mavs could do. Lillard is on another planet right now.
