• Donovan Mitchell
    SG, Utah Jazz

Donovan Mitchell had a big night with 33 points on 9-of-22 shooting to go with five rebounds, four assists and four triples, but the Jazz lost to the Lakers 108-116 on Monday.

Mitchell was by far the best player on the Jazz tonight and it was thanks to his play that the team was even close throughout this one. After Anthony Davis nearly put away the Jazz with a four-point play, Mitchell followed up with his own. After that sequence, he ran a fastbreak that led to a wide open 3-pointer which would have put the Jazz in arms reach of the game, but Royce O'Neale couldn't connect. He should continue his strong play against the Grizzlies on Wednesday.
