Kentavious Caldwell-PopeSG, Los Angeles LakersKentavious Caldwell-Pope played 29 minutes in Thursday's win, though he didn't do much with them in producing six points (2-of-8 FG) and a steal.
Caldwell-Pope was initially on the injury report with a right rib contusion so it's good that he was able to play through it, but this was not an inspiring performance. If he's going to deliver late-round numbers — and they'll be late-round numbers at best — he needs to fire it up as a 3-and-D guy. As of now, it looks like he'll be splitting time with Danny Green (six points, two 3-pointers in 25 minutes) and Alex Caruso (seven points, four rebounds, two assists, one steal and some great defense in 29 minutes). It's a time split that might render all three useless in standard-sized leagues.
