Lonnie Walker IVSG, San Antonio SpursAfter going scoreless in the first half, Lonnie Walker IV scored a team-high 14 points in the second half of Thursday’s loss to the Bucks.
Walker also led the team in minutes (25) in Thursday’s game but didn’t contribute much else on the stat sheet: three rebounds, two assists, two threes and two turnovers. The team will have a difficult time advancing to the playoffs without LaMarcus Aldridge (right shoulder surgery), so Walker and the other youngsters could continue to see additional opportunity as the Spurs look to develop their younger talent ahead of the 2020-21 season.
