Tyronn LuePG, Los Angeles ClippersMarc Stein is reporting that Tyronn Lue, Jason Kidd, Mark Jackson, Jeff Van Gundy and current interim coach Jacque Vaughn are on the Nets' list of potential coaching candidates.
It was floated last week that Lue and Kyrie Irving have mutual interest in reuniting, but it's still far too early in the process to name a favorite. The Nets surprisingly dismissed Kenny Atkinson after he helped rebuild the entire program and will need their next coach to be more to the liking of their star core. All of the names currently mentioned have previous experience as a head coach, with Kidd obviously starting out as a coach in Brooklyn before moving to Milwaukee, though Jackson and JVG are better known for squabbling on TV these days.
