Tristan ThompsonC, Cleveland CavaliersThe Cavs have interest in signing Tristan Thompson to a team-friendly deal this summer, per Cleveland.com's Chris Fedor.
The Cavs have quite the frontcourt logjam on their hands, assuming Andre Drummond opts into his massive deal for next year. Even so, they recognize that Thompson has been a great teammate and is a strong voice in the locker room, and were discussing a contract extension earlier in the season. Ultimately Thompson is an unrestricted free agent so the final call is his.
