Kevin HuerterSG, Atlanta HawksKevin Huerter took on the primary playmaking duties with Trae Young out on Friday, posting 14 points (6-for-14 shooting), a career-high 11 asssists, two triples, one steal and one block across a team-high 38 minutes.
It was an impressive passing display from Huerter, who rarely gets to show off that aspect of his game playing alongside Trae Young. It doesn't sound like Young will miss much time, but Huerter is a hold regardless with the potential for more production anytime a Hawks rotation player is out.
