J.J. Barea (right ankle soreness) was ruled out on Wednesday vs. the Pelicans.

Barea is inconsistent when the Mavs are healthy and hasn't played more than 20 minutes in each of the past four games. He can be streamed for assists when the Mavs have injuries in the backcourt, but he can be left on the waiver wire until then.
