• Deandre Ayton
    C, Phoenix Suns

Deandre Ayton went 10-of-12 from the field on Friday night, netting 20 points, 10 rebounds, a steal and two blocks against the Pistons.

Ayton was already a top-30 guy as a rookie but his big spike in blocks — up from 0.9 to 1.6 per game this season — is pushing him even higher up the fantasy rankings. There's still a long way to go but defensive metrics are starting to like Ayton's impact on the that end of the floor, and if he can truly become an impact guy and not just a stat collector it'll only help his long-term outlook. Not that a top-30 floor was making anyone sweat.
