Michael Kidd-Gilchrist is active for the Mavs on Friday against the Magic.

MKG will try to work his way into a regular rotation slot for the Mavs, but it is hard to know how he will gel with the roster right off the bat. Rick Carlisle is never one to maintain a stable rotation and Kidd-Gilchrist will have plenty of competition for minutes. He's nothing more than a deep league play for now.
