Jonas Valanciunas did not play the last 16-plus minutes of Thursday's game vs. the Kings but was able to post eight points, 11 rebounds and one assist in 20 minutes.

There's no news regarding any injuries, so this was likely a matchup-based decision on the part of the Grizzlies, who leaned heavily on their bench mob in this one. Brandon Clarke saw 25 minutes off the bench and was able to produce a slightly better line with eight points, 11 rebounds, one assist and two blocks. We should expect to see Valanciunas get his minutes back up in the next game. No worries here.
