Malik BeasleySG, Minnesota TimberwolvesAs part of Tuesday's four-team trade, the Wolves will receive Malik Beasley from the Nuggets.
Beasley has been on the block for most of this season, with the Nuggets unwilling to simply lose him for nothing in restricted free agency. He performed admirably in an elevated role last season but has seen his playing time dwindle with Will Barton and Gary Harris both healthier than last year — down to 18.0 mpg and only 40 appearances. Beasley could've been a potential pickup in fantasy with a bigger role but that's unlikely to come in Minnesota, where he'll be battling for playing time with Andrew Wiggins, Jarrett Culver and Josh Okogie. The Wolves are said to be active on the trade market, however, so his situation may change yet again. Right now Beasley is only a speculative pickup in deeper formats but we'll see where he's at when the dust settles on Thursday. The inclusion of Shabazz Napier in this megadeal opens things up a bit more but he's only a low-end speculative add in 12-team leagues right now.
