Damian Lillard did everything he could on Sunday but his 34 points, 12 assists, six 3-pointers and three steals were not enough to defeat the Heat.

Lillard tried to rally the squad in the second half from a huge deficit, but apparently he should have played the entire game for the Blazers. The 42 minutes he did receive was necessary in the wake of CJ McCollum's illness keeping him out of the action. Lillard remains a top-10 stud and the only worry is if the Blazers choose to pull the plug on a floundering season.
